BAUMELER

Baumeler was founded in 1903 as a freight forwarding company by Josef Baumeler. 17 years later, his son of the same name took over the business and built it into a travel agency specialising in emigration trips. Under the director Dr. A. Fischer, Baumeler Reisen AG carried out the first and most popular hiking group tour to the Cinque Terre. At the beginning of the 80s cyclo-rounding came and a little later painting holidays. Baumeler Reisen AG has been part of Knecht Holding AG since 2000 and is the leading specialist for active holidays in Switzerland. The offer includes group and individual trips.
