As a young man, Joan Pla changed his studies in architecture to turn his profession into what he was truly passionate about, travel. Thus, in 1981 he set up his own travel agency in a small premises on Carrer Girona, and became one of the founders of "Trekking & Aventura", one of the pioneering agencies in the country in alternative travel. A connoisseur of the Sahara Desert like few others, his experience as an independent traveler is a guarantee for any route that crosses his desk, knowing how to maintain at all times "the traveling spirit" in its most traditional conception.
