Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a compact natural forest park, located in Southwestern Uganda 8-9 hours’ drive from Kampala and by flight, about 2 hours. The park was founded in 1991 and its borders extend to cover 331sq.kms of land area. Over 459 of the earth’s 1063 mountain gorillas left all dwell in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and also shelters many other animal species including chimpanzees, colobus monkeys; bird species with record of 360, reptiles, amphibians, plants and 200 butterfly species.
