The whole idea for Singelresor started when the founder and owner of Singelresor Norden AB, Michael Pannagel, was newly divorced. A few months later, he went on a group trip to China. That's where the idea of ​​arranging trips for singles was born.

"There were 29 of us on the trip where I was the only single, the rest were couples. I already made a fool of myself at the first lunch. We were supposed to sit around round tables and I sat down at one and didn't think that there were only eight chairs around that table, which meant that one of the other couples had to share. It wasn't popular and felt very backwards. That's when the idea was born, to arrange trips for solo travelers."
