Early morning departure from your lodge/hotel with packed lunch for a full-day safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Big Five. Descend 600 meters into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, where you’ll enjoy game viewing in one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and if lucky, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated sites inside the crater. In the afternoon, ascend back to the rim and begin your return journey.
